Flying Himalayan Monal Studio (FHM Studio) is a Himalayan-based film and media production company rooted in the cultural, ecological, and emotional landscapes of Bharat.

Founded by filmmaker Mohan (Samar) Belwal, the studio works across feature films, documentaries, branded films, advertising content, and institutional media, with a strong focus on research-driven and people-centric storytelling.

FHM Studio draws its creative strength from the Himalayas, rural India, and indigenous histories, translating lived experiences, traditions, and struggles into cinematic narratives that resonate both locally and globally.

Alongside independent cinema and festival-oriented projects, the studio actively collaborates with brands, institutions, and government bodies to craft brand-building narratives that are emotionally grounded and culturally authentic—stories that connect with the soul of the people of Bharat.

Our projects and works-in-progress have been showcased and recognized at major platforms including NFDC WAVES Film Bazaar (Work-in-Progress Lab), receiving national mentorship and post-production support.

Beyond production, Flying Himalayan Monal Studio is committed to capacity building and cultural exchange through filmmaking workshops, academic collaborations, and community-based documentation projects across Uttarakhand and other regions.
